We place across Kalasapakkam and the wider Tamil Nadu region. If a medium bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Gallah Cockatoo.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Gallah Cockatoo; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Gallah Cockatoo is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Is a Gallah Cockatoo a sensible choice for you in Kalasapakkam?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Gallah Cockatoo will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kalasapakkam without much drama.

What a Gallah Cockatoo costs in Kalasapakkam

Between ₹229,870 and ₹229,870 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Gallah Cockatoo costs more up front and less in the first months.

What you will pay

Expect ₹229,870 upward, to around ₹229,870. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Gallah Cockatoo is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a medium bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
