We place across K V Kuppam and the wider Tamil Nadu region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Chattering Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Chattering Lorikeet reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

warm and humid, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Chattering Lorikeet; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Is a Chattering Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in K V Kuppam?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a K V Kuppam apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Chattering Lorikeet price, and the cost after it

₹60,337 to ₹60,337 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Chattering Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Chattering Lorikeet is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
