Buy Red Collared Lorikeet in Egmore, Tamil Nadu

What is listed for Egmore is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Red Collared Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Red Collared Lorikeet that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Red Collared Lorikeet.

What a Red Collared Lorikeet costs in Egmore

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Red Collared Lorikeet without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Red Collared Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Red Collared Lorikeet will barely register the change.

What you will pay

Expect ₹21,223 upward, to around ₹21,223. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
