We place across Devakottai and the wider Tamil Nadu region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Is a Chattering Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Devakottai?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Chattering Lorikeet placements in Devakottai than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

What a Chattering Lorikeet costs in Devakottai

Between ₹60,337 and ₹60,337 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Chattering Lorikeet costs more up front and less in the first months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Chattering Lorikeet comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Devakottai flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Chattering Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Chattering Lorikeet reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Chattering Lorikeet will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

What you will pay

Expect ₹60,337 upward, to around ₹60,337. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Chattering Lorikeet is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
