Buy Chattering Lorikeet in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu

What is listed for Chidambaram is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Chattering Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Chattering Lorikeet comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Chidambaram flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Chattering Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

What a Chattering Lorikeet costs in Chidambaram

Between ₹60,337 and ₹60,337 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Chattering Lorikeet costs more up front and less in the first months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Chattering Lorikeet.

Is a Chattering Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Chidambaram?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Chattering Lorikeet will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Chidambaram without much drama.

What you will pay

Expect ₹60,337 upward, to around ₹60,337. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
