We place across Perinthalmanna and the wider Kerala region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Is a Blue Monk a sensible choice for you in Perinthalmanna?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Blue Monk will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Perinthalmanna without much drama.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Blue Monk to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

What a Blue Monk costs in Perinthalmanna

Between ₹26,131 and ₹26,131 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue Monk costs more up front and less in the first months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue Monk comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Perinthalmanna flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue Monk; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Blue Monk price, and the cost after it

₹26,131 to ₹26,131 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Blue Monk without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Blue Monk is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
