Buy Moluccan Cockatoo in Paravur, Kerala

What is listed for Paravur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Moluccan Cockatoo you asked for and hear about it in six months.

What a Moluccan Cockatoo costs in Paravur

Between ₹311,626 and ₹311,626 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Moluccan Cockatoo costs more up front and less in the first months.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Moluccan Cockatoo names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Moluccan Cockatoo reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Moluccan Cockatoo will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large bird notices both. moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Moluccan Cockatoo will barely register the change.

Is a Moluccan Cockatoo a sensible choice for you in Paravur?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Moluccan Cockatoo will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Paravur without much drama.

What you will pay

Expect ₹311,626 upward, to around ₹311,626. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Moluccan Cockatoo is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
