What is listed for Mallappally is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Rainbow Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Is a Rainbow Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Mallappally?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Rainbow Lorikeet placements in Mallappally than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

What a Rainbow Lorikeet costs in Mallappally

Between ₹19,639 and ₹19,639 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Rainbow Lorikeet costs more up front and less in the first months.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Rainbow Lorikeet to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Rainbow Lorikeet will barely register the change.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

What you will pay

Expect ₹19,639 upward, to around ₹19,639. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
