Buy Green Cheek Conure in Kondotty, Kerala
What is listed for Kondotty is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Green Cheek Conure you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Green Cheek Conure; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a small Green Cheek Conure to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Green Cheek Conure are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Green Cheek Conure arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Is a Green Cheek Conure a sensible choice for you in Kondotty?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Green Cheek Conure placements in Kondotty than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Green Cheek Conure price, and the cost after it
₹6,962 to ₹6,962 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Green Cheek Conure without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Green Cheek Conure in Kondotty: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 37°C. That is manageable for a Green Cheek Conure: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 21°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from May to October, and June is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Green Cheek Conure bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, April and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 33 | 36 | 37 | 35 | 32 | 29 | 28 | 28 | 29 | 30 | 30 | 31 |
| Low °C | 21 | 22 | 24 | 25 | 26 | 25 | 24 | 24 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 21 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 11 | 33 | 84 | 184 | 399 | 368 | 278 | 217 | 241 | 129 | 26 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Green Cheek Conure
A practical checklist for a small bird in a Kondotty flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
