Buy White Bellied Caique in Aluva, Kerala

We place across Aluva and the wider Kerala region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young White Bellied Caique are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

warm and humid, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Is a White Bellied Caique a sensible choice for you in Aluva?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Aluva apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small White Bellied Caique to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every White Bellied Caique; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What you will pay

Expect ₹59,147 upward, to around ₹59,147. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.
