We place across Yeshwanthpur and the wider Karnataka region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Blue Monk will barely register the change.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue Monk; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue Monk arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Is a Blue Monk a sensible choice for you in Yeshwanthpur?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Yeshwanthpur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Blue Monk will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue Monk comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Yeshwanthpur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Blue Monk price, and the cost after it

₹26,131 to ₹26,131 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Blue Monk without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
