Buy Yellow Monk in Whitefield, Karnataka

What is listed for Whitefield is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Yellow Monk you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Yellow Monk comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Whitefield flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

mild tropical plateau, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Yellow Monk is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

What a Yellow Monk costs in Whitefield

Expect ₹28,933 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Yellow Monk.

What you will pay

Expect ₹28,933 upward, to around ₹28,933. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
