Buy Hahn's Macaw in Vimanapura, Karnataka

We place across Vimanapura and the wider Karnataka region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Hahn's Macaw will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

What a Hahn's Macaw costs in Vimanapura

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Hahn's Macaw without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Hahn's Macaw.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Hahn's Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Vimanapura flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

moderate Deccan, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Hahn's Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What you will pay

Expect ₹64,953 upward, to around ₹64,953. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Hahn's Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
