Buy Blue & Gold Macaw in Vimanapura, Karnataka

What is listed for Vimanapura is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue & Gold Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Blue & Gold Macaw that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue & Gold Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Vimanapura flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Blue & Gold Macaw reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Vimanapura?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Blue & Gold Macaw will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Vimanapura without much drama.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new large bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large bird notices both. the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Blue & Gold Macaw will barely register the change.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
