Buy Cockatiel in Vasanthapura, Karnataka

What is listed for Vasanthapura is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A calm Cockatiel that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 15-20 Years is easier.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A calm Cockatiel is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 15-20 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Cockatiel.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Cockatiel that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 15-20 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Vasanthapura?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a calm Cockatiel will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Vasanthapura without much drama.

Cockatiel price, and the cost after it

₹4,255 to ₹4,255 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Cockatiel without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Cockatiel is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
