What is listed for Thippasandra is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Yellow Naped Amazon you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Yellow Naped Amazon is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Yellow Naped Amazon.

Is a Yellow Naped Amazon a sensible choice for you in Thippasandra?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium bird in a Thippasandra apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Yellow Naped Amazon comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Thippasandra flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Yellow Naped Amazon will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Yellow Naped Amazon names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Yellow Naped Amazon price, and the cost after it

₹94,020 to ₹94,020 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Yellow Naped Amazon without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Yellow Naped Amazon is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a medium bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
