Buy Cockatiel in Thanisandra, Karnataka

What is listed for Thanisandra is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A cheerful Cockatiel is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 15-20 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Cockatiel names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Thanisandra?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a cheerful Cockatiel will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Thanisandra without much drama.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Cockatiel that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 15-20 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Cockatiel reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

What a Cockatiel costs in Thanisandra

The purchase is the small number. Over 15-20 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Cockatiel without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

What you will pay

Expect ₹6,120 upward, to around ₹6,120. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 15-20 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
