Buy Black Headed Caique in Shivajinagar, Karnataka

We place across Shivajinagar and the wider Karnataka region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Black Headed Caique is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Black Headed Caique will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Black Headed Caique comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Shivajinagar flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Black Headed Caique.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Black Headed Caique; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What a Black Headed Caique costs in Shivajinagar

Expect ₹49,658 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

What you will pay

Expect ₹49,658 upward, to around ₹49,658. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Black Headed Caique is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
