Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue Sided comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Sarjapur Road flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue Sided arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Is a Blue Sided a sensible choice for you in Sarjapur Road?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Blue Sided placements in Sarjapur Road than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Blue Sided will barely register the change.

Blue Sided price, and the cost after it

₹7,062 to ₹7,062 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Blue Sided without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Blue Sided is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
