Buy Blue & Gold Macaw in Rajajinagar, Karnataka

What is listed for Rajajinagar is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue & Gold Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Blue & Gold Macaw.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large bird notices both. the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Blue & Gold Macaw will barely register the change.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Blue & Gold Macaw is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue & Gold Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Blue & Gold Macaw that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
