Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Blue & Gold Macaw that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Puttenahalli?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Blue & Gold Macaw placements in Puttenahalli than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue & Gold Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Puttenahalli flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What a Blue & Gold Macaw costs in Puttenahalli

Between ₹130,187 and ₹130,187 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue & Gold Macaw costs more up front and less in the first months.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

mild tropical plateau, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new large bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
