Buy Cockatiel in Nagarbhavi, Karnataka

What is listed for Nagarbhavi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

What a Cockatiel costs in Nagarbhavi

Between ₹3,310 and ₹3,310 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Cockatiel costs more up front and less in the first months.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A gentle Cockatiel is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 15-20 Years.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Nagarbhavi?

You are choosing a 15-20 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Nagarbhavi apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Cockatiel comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Nagarbhavi flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Cockatiel.

What you will pay

Expect ₹3,310 upward, to around ₹3,310. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 15-20 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
