What is listed for Mudigere is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue Sided you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Blue Sided will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Blue Sided that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue Sided arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue Sided; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Blue Sided will barely register the change.

What a Blue Sided costs in Mudigere

Between ₹7,062 and ₹7,062 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue Sided costs more up front and less in the first months.

What you will pay

Expect ₹7,062 upward, to around ₹7,062. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
