We place across Malleswaram and the wider Karnataka region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Red Lorikeet; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Red Lorikeet will barely register the change.

What a Red Lorikeet costs in Malleswaram

Between ₹63,387 and ₹63,387 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Red Lorikeet costs more up front and less in the first months.

Is a Red Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Malleswaram?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Red Lorikeet will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Malleswaram without much drama.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Red Lorikeet.

Red Lorikeet price, and the cost after it

₹63,387 to ₹63,387 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Red Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Red Lorikeet is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
