Buy Black Headed Caique in Magadi, Karnataka

What is listed for Magadi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Black Headed Caique you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a Black Headed Caique that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Black Headed Caique to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Black Headed Caique is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Black Headed Caique names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

What a Black Headed Caique costs in Magadi

Between ₹49,658 and ₹49,658 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Black Headed Caique costs more up front and less in the first months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Black Headed Caique are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

What you will pay

Expect ₹49,658 upward, to around ₹49,658. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
