Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Is a Jenday Conure a sensible choice for you in Kumbalgodu?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Kumbalgodu apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Jenday Conure arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Jenday Conure.

Jenday Conure price, and the cost after it

₹9,640 to ₹9,640 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Jenday Conure without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
