Buy Black Headed Caique in Kumbalgodu, Karnataka

What is listed for Kumbalgodu is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Black Headed Caique you asked for and hear about it in six months.

What a Black Headed Caique costs in Kumbalgodu

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Black Headed Caique without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Black Headed Caique is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Black Headed Caique names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Is a Black Headed Caique a sensible choice for you in Kumbalgodu?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Black Headed Caique will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kumbalgodu without much drama.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Black Headed Caique to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Black Headed Caique comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kumbalgodu flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What you will pay

Expect ₹49,658 upward, to around ₹49,658. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
