We place across Kumaraswamy Layout and the wider Karnataka region. If a tiny bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Budgies comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kumaraswamy Layout flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Budgies.

What a Budgies costs in Kumaraswamy Layout

Between ₹1,250 and ₹1,250 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Budgies costs more up front and less in the first months.

Is a Budgies a sensible choice for you in Kumaraswamy Layout?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Budgies will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kumaraswamy Layout without much drama.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Budgies; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Budgies is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-10 Years.

What you will pay

Expect ₹1,250 upward, to around ₹1,250. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-10 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
