Buy Moluccan Cockatoo in Kothnur, Karnataka

What is listed for Kothnur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Moluccan Cockatoo you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Is a Moluccan Cockatoo a sensible choice for you in Kothnur?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Moluccan Cockatoo will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kothnur without much drama.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Moluccan Cockatoo comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kothnur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Moluccan Cockatoo arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a Moluccan Cockatoo that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

What you will pay

Expect ₹311,626 upward, to around ₹311,626. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
