We place across Kalkere and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Is a African Grey Parrot a sensible choice for you in Kalkere?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly African Grey Parrot will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kalkere without much drama.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A African Grey Parrot that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a African Grey Parrot names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a African Grey Parrot comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kalkere flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What a African Grey Parrot costs in Kalkere

Between ₹67,146 and ₹67,146 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated African Grey Parrot costs more up front and less in the first months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a medium African Grey Parrot to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

African Grey Parrot price, and the cost after it

₹67,146 to ₹67,146 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a African Grey Parrot without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every African Grey Parrot is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a medium bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
