We place across Jayanagar East and the wider Karnataka region. If a large bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Is a Scarlet Macaw a sensible choice for you in Jayanagar East?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large bird in a Jayanagar East apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

What a Scarlet Macaw costs in Jayanagar East

Expect ₹298,026 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Scarlet Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Scarlet Macaw that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Scarlet Macaw reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large bird notices both. the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Scarlet Macaw will barely register the change.

Scarlet Macaw price, and the cost after it

₹298,026 to ₹298,026 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Scarlet Macaw without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Scarlet Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
