We place across Jayanagar 4th Block and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The African Grey Parrot will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly African Grey Parrot is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a medium bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young African Grey Parrot are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward For a African Grey Parrot that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a medium bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Is a African Grey Parrot a sensible choice for you in Jayanagar 4th Block?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium bird in a Jayanagar 4th Block apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

What you will pay

Expect ₹67,146 upward, to around ₹67,146. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
