Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Sun Cheek Conure; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Sun Cheek Conure to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a Sun Cheek Conure that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Sun Cheek Conure is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Sun Cheek Conure comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Ibbalur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Sun Cheek Conure price, and the cost after it

₹8,777 to ₹8,777 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Sun Cheek Conure without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Sun Cheek Conure is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
