Buy Blue & Gold Macaw in Ibbalur, Karnataka

We place across Ibbalur and the wider Karnataka region. If a large bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Blue & Gold Macaw.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue & Gold Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Ibbalur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue & Gold Macaw arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

moderate Deccan, and the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What a Blue & Gold Macaw costs in Ibbalur

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Blue & Gold Macaw without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Blue & Gold Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
