We place across Hulimavu and the wider Karnataka region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Blue Sided names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a Blue Sided that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Is a Blue Sided a sensible choice for you in Hulimavu?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Hulimavu apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue Sided comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Hulimavu flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What a Blue Sided costs in Hulimavu

Between ₹7,062 and ₹7,062 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue Sided costs more up front and less in the first months.

Blue Sided price, and the cost after it

Health and handover

Every Blue Sided is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
