Buy Black Headed Caique in High Grounds, Karnataka

What is listed for High Grounds is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Black Headed Caique you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Black Headed Caique names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

pleasant semi-tropical, and the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Black Headed Caique comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a High Grounds flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

What a Black Headed Caique costs in High Grounds

Expect ₹49,658 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Black Headed Caique.

Black Headed Caique price, and the cost after it

₹49,658 to ₹49,658 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Black Headed Caique without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
