Buy Hahn's Macaw in Gunjur, Karnataka

What is listed for Gunjur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Hahn's Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

What a Hahn's Macaw costs in Gunjur

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Hahn's Macaw without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Is a Hahn's Macaw a sensible choice for you in Gunjur?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Hahn's Macaw will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Gunjur without much drama.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Hahn's Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Gunjur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Hahn's Macaw.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Hahn's Macaw is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Hahn's Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What you will pay

Expect ₹64,953 upward, to around ₹64,953. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Hahn's Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
