Buy Hahn's Macaw in Dommasandra, Karnataka

What is listed for Dommasandra is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Hahn's Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Hahn's Macaw reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Hahn's Macaw arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Hahn's Macaw will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

What a Hahn's Macaw costs in Dommasandra

Expect ₹64,953 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Hahn's Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Dommasandra flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Hahn's Macaw names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

What you will pay

Expect ₹64,953 upward, to around ₹64,953. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Hahn's Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
