Buy Cockatiel in Doddanakundi, Karnataka

What is listed for Doddanakundi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A gentle Cockatiel that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 15-20 Years is easier.

What a Cockatiel costs in Doddanakundi

Between ₹9,000 and ₹9,000 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Cockatiel costs more up front and less in the first months.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Cockatiel.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Cockatiel arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Cockatiel names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Cockatiel price, and the cost after it

₹9,000 to ₹9,000 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Cockatiel without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
