What is listed for Cox Town is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Moluccan Cockatoo you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Moluccan Cockatoo arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Is a Moluccan Cockatoo a sensible choice for you in Cox Town?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Moluccan Cockatoo will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Cox Town without much drama.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Moluccan Cockatoo.

What a Moluccan Cockatoo costs in Cox Town

Between ₹311,626 and ₹311,626 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Moluccan Cockatoo costs more up front and less in the first months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Moluccan Cockatoo that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Moluccan Cockatoo price, and the cost after it

₹311,626 to ₹311,626 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Moluccan Cockatoo without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
