We place across Carmelaram and the wider Karnataka region. If a large bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue & Gold Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward For a Blue & Gold Macaw that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Blue & Gold Macaw reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Carmelaram?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Blue & Gold Macaw will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Carmelaram without much drama.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue & Gold Macaw arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Blue & Gold Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
