Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Yellow Monk comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Bellary Road flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Yellow Monk arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Is a Yellow Monk a sensible choice for you in Bellary Road?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Yellow Monk will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Bellary Road without much drama.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Yellow Monk; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What a Yellow Monk costs in Bellary Road

Between ₹28,933 and ₹28,933 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Yellow Monk costs more up front and less in the first months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Yellow Monk reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Yellow Monk price, and the cost after it

₹28,933 to ₹28,933 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Yellow Monk without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
