Buy Cockatiel in Basavanapura, Karnataka

What is listed for Basavanapura is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Cockatiel reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

What a Cockatiel costs in Basavanapura

Expect ₹4,255 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A calm Cockatiel is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 15-20 Years.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Cockatiel will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

mild tropical plateau, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Basavanapura?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a calm Cockatiel will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Basavanapura without much drama.

What you will pay

Expect ₹4,255 upward, to around ₹4,255. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 15-20 Years.

Health and handover

Every Cockatiel is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
