Buy Blue Monk in Basavanapura, Karnataka

What is listed for Basavanapura is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue Monk you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue Monk; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What a Blue Monk costs in Basavanapura

Between ₹26,131 and ₹26,131 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue Monk costs more up front and less in the first months.

Is a Blue Monk a sensible choice for you in Basavanapura?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Basavanapura apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

mild tropical plateau, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Blue Monk.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue Monk arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

What you will pay

Expect ₹26,131 upward, to around ₹26,131. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Blue Monk is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
