Buy Hahn's Macaw in Basavanagudi, Karnataka

What is listed for Basavanagudi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Hahn's Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Is a Hahn's Macaw a sensible choice for you in Basavanagudi?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Basavanagudi apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Hahn's Macaw are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Hahn's Macaw to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

What you will pay

Expect ₹64,953 upward, to around ₹64,953. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
