Buy African Grey Parrot in Bannerghatta, Karnataka

What is listed for Bannerghatta is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the African Grey Parrot you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The African Grey Parrot will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a medium African Grey Parrot to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a African Grey Parrot names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the African Grey Parrot arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a African Grey Parrot comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Bannerghatta flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

pleasant semi-tropical, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What you will pay

Expect ₹67,146 upward, to around ₹67,146. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
