Buy Black Headed Caique in Athni, Karnataka

What is listed for Athni is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Black Headed Caique you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Black Headed Caique to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Black Headed Caique that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Is a Black Headed Caique a sensible choice for you in Athni?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Black Headed Caique will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Athni without much drama.

What a Black Headed Caique costs in Athni

Expect ₹49,658 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership For a Black Headed Caique that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Black Headed Caique arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

What you will pay

Expect ₹49,658 upward, to around ₹49,658. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
