Buy Senegal Parrot in Velugodu, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Velugodu and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Senegal Parrot arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a small Senegal Parrot to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.
What a Senegal Parrot costs in Velugodu
Expect ₹42,931 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Senegal Parrot will barely register the change.
Is a Senegal Parrot a sensible choice for you in Velugodu?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Senegal Parrot placements in Velugodu than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
What you will pay
Expect ₹42,931 upward, to around ₹42,931. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Senegal Parrot in Velugodu: local climate
Velugodu is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Senegal Parrot needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
Most of the year's rain falls in September. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Senegal Parrot bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, July, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 21 | 25 | 27 | 25 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 21 | 19 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 2 | 12 | 22 | 55 | 94 | 114 | 121 | 154 | 116 | 49 | 12 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Senegal Parrot
Your week with a Senegal Parrot, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the bird properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Senegal Parrot comes home.
