We place across Ponnur and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a large bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large bird notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Scarlet Macaw will barely register the change.

Is a Scarlet Macaw a sensible choice for you in Ponnur?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Scarlet Macaw placements in Ponnur than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new large bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Scarlet Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a large Scarlet Macaw to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

What you will pay

Expect ₹298,026 upward, to around ₹298,026. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Scarlet Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
