We place across Mentada and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

What a Nanday Conure costs in Mentada

Between ₹32,797 and ₹32,797 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Nanday Conure costs more up front and less in the first months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Nanday Conure.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Nanday Conure comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Mentada flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Nanday Conure arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small bird notices both. the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Nanday Conure will barely register the change.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Nanday Conure names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

What you will pay

Expect ₹32,797 upward, to around ₹32,797. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
